What is it like to work with me?
Corny, but fun! No really! Let's face it, photography sessions are typically awkward. For 1-2 hours, you're tasked with holding a pose, evoking emotion, trying to get your kid or pet to stay still while trying to stay still yourself, wondering if your hair is staying in place, probably trying to suck it in and stick it out at the same time (ladies, you know it's true!), all while dealing with the crowd of people that give you that awkward side-eye stare as they're passing by.
With all that going on, I will basically try to do anything to make you as comfortable as possible. We will joke and have fun. We can play music during our sessions. We'll talk, laugh, and I'll encourage playful interactions. And if you're going for the more serious look, I'll constantly ask you to "GIVE ME FACE!" :)
Ultimately, my goal is to bring your vision to life. I like to meet all my clients before our scheduled shoot day so that we can get to know each other and make sure we're a good fit. I've learned that the more comfortable you are with me, the more comfortable you'll be in front of my camera.
